Community Rules
Please read and abide by these guidelines to keep our community safe and supportive
1. Respect and Integrity
- Treat all members with respect, regardless of background, skill level, or experience.
- Celebrate diversity of thought, culture, and approach.
- No harassment, discrimination, or bullying will be tolerated.
2. Trust and Confidentiality
- Do not share or use another participant’s ideas, code, or materials without explicit permission.
- Respect the privacy of cohort discussions and any materials shared within the group.
- If you are inspired by someone else’s work, credit them and ask before building on their ideas.
3. Build in Public, But With Consent
- Share your own journey openly, but never disclose another participant’s work, progress, or challenges without their consent.
- Give constructive feedback and support, not unsolicited criticism.
4. No Self-Promotion or Spam
- Share your work and progress authentically, not as advertisements.
- Avoid spamming the group with links, promotions, or unrelated content.
5. Commitment and Accountability
- Show up for scheduled check-ins, sessions, and demo days.
- Participate actively: set goals, share progress, and support others.
- If you cannot attend or need to step back, communicate with the group.
6. Collaboration Over Competition
- Foster a spirit of mutual support and learning.
- Healthy competition is welcome, but undermining, sabotaging, or copying others is not.
7. Ownership and Originality
- Only submit work that is your own or that you have explicit permission to share.
- Do not copy, clone, or repurpose another member’s product, code, or marketing without clear consent.
8. Feedback and Dispute Resolution
- Give feedback that is specific, actionable, and kind.
- If you have a concern or conflict, address it respectfully with the person involved or bring it to the organizers for mediation.
9. Uphold Community Values
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment.
- Help maintain the quality and integrity of the community by reporting violations or concerns to the organizers.
10. Consequences
- Violations of these rules may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community, depending on severity.
